Appellate deadlines are strict and often jurisdictional. In most cases you have only 30 days from service of notice of entry of the decision to file a notice of appeal, and missing that deadline can forfeit your right to appeal entirely. If you have recently received an unfavorable decision, please contact us as soon as possible.

Our office is in Midtown Manhattan, and we handle appeals from trial courts throughout New York City and the surrounding counties — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau County, Suffolk County, and Westchester County. We appear in the Appellate Division, First Department, the Appellate Division, Second Department, the Appellate Term, and the New York Court of Appeals.
